One of her favorite activities was taking pictures and keeping a photo record of all those who touched her life. She also enjoyed playing cards, baking, bowling, gardening, canning, art, and spending time with her family and friends. Sally was a nurse for many years, working at Cortland Memorial Hospital after schooling, the Elizabeth Brewster House for many years and as a private duty nurse. After over a year of isolation, family was allowed to visit. In late 2019, just as Covid was taking hold, she was admitted to Guthrie Cedar Run, where the staff did all possible to comfort her in our world of isolation. She lived in Cortland until moving to and enjoying the excellent care and friendships at the Elizabeth Brewster House in Homer in 2016. ![]() Sally spent her early years in Peterboro, graduating from Morrisville Eaton High School and Morrisville College. She was born on March 23, 1927, in the town of Smithfield, NY, the daughter of the late Fenton and Vera (Ingalls) Bliss. ![]() Sally Augusta (Bliss) O’Shea, 95, Cortland, New York passed away on October 6, 2022, following an extended illness.
